They&#8217;re a size larger than a regular 16d framing nail so they are pretty hefty.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In order to prep the cylinder for pouring I cut a piece of rigid foam into a circle and marked the center.\u00a0 I stuck a piece of 1\/2&#8243; CPVC in the center of it, pulled it out and then stuck it into the concrete form.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_374\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\".\/?attachment_id=374\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-374\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-374\" class=\"wp-image-374 size-medium\" title=\"Bottom side with foam plug\" src=\"https:\/\/junkwood.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/DSCF9711-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Bottom side with foam plug\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/junkwood.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/DSCF9711-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/junkwood.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/DSCF9711.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-374\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Here&#8217;s what will be the bottom side when pouring in the concrete. It serves a few purposes. I was sweating too much and my hands were a little too dirty to pick up the camera while mixing up the concrete and filling the form.
